Zwcad upgrades new policy
Recently Zwsoft decided to modify their upgrade policy, but will still support all versions.
However, should you need to rebuild or re-install, you will
now only be able to download from
Zwsoft, their current version and 2 versions back.
As we are currently on 2026 version. You can download versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.
However the next release will be 2027, so then it
will be only 2027,2026 and 2025 and not 2024.
If you are on 2024 version it’s worth noting that cross
upgrades over 2 or more versions are higher priced
So an upgrade will be lower in price before 2027 is released.
Avoid a £50 charge
You may recall advice to use Zwcad’s online button to send
your license back to it’s server, prior to any upgrade of your hard drive or
change of computer.
There is now a charge of £50+vat per license, if you haven’t
done this before asking to have your license reset.
You can keep up to date with yearly maintenance, which
includes 2 free resets and free upgrades during each year.
